Four people arrested at Bonita Lakes Mall in December after employees at Reed's Jewelers became suspicious about their behavior have entered petitions to plead guilty to credit card fraud. The petitions, all of which suggest three-year suspended sentences, were filed Thursday in Lauderdale County Circuit Court.
Michael Tenrerro, 27, stated he used a fraudulent credit card to attempt to purchase $300 worth of gift certificates. His petition suggests a $3,000 fine.
Rosa Campos, 35, stated she tried to buy $600 worth of gift certificates. Her petition suggests a $3,000 fine.
Ernesto Guevera, 30, stated he tried to buy $1,206.96 worth of jewelry. His petition suggests a $2,000 fine.
Rolando Rodriquez, 31, stated he tried to buy $571.03 worth of compact disks. His petition suggests a $3,000 fine.
Under the plea agreement, all four defendants would also be required to pay appearance bond fees and court costs.
