Hurley, Layman

Mr. and Mrs. John Adair Hurley of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Deane, to Paul Christopher Layman, son of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Roland Layman of Newport News, Va.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 23, 2001, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Jackson.
Miss Hurley is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Molpus Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Hurley, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Andrew's Episcopal High School and received a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Alabama.
While attending UA, she was a member of Alpha Gamma sorority and a Presidential Scholar.
Miss Hurley is employed by Braindance Marketing in Atlanta. She is a member of the Junior League of Atlanta.
Mr. Layman is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Farris, Gill Hinson Jr., the late John Jacob Layman and Mrs. John Jacob Layman of Newport News.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Menchville High School and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Alabama.
While attending UA, he was captain of the men's tennis team.
Mr. Layman is employed as a tennis pro by Dunwoody Country Club.
A reception will be held at Fairview Inn following the ceremony.
