PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Mary E. May Buell were held Tuesday at Cooks Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Horton officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Buell, 75, of Gunnison, Colo., died Friday, June 15, 2001, in Gunnison.
Survivors include three daughters, Jerrie Karp of Elko, Nev., Judy Russell of Grand Junction, Colo. and Robbie Marquez of Littleton, Colo.; four sisters, Sarah Cherry of Porterville, Dorothy George and Betty Pinter, both of Philadelphia, and Evelyn Nicholson of Houston, Texas; and five grandchildren.

Services for Hubert Wood Gipson will be held today at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ann Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Gipson, 73, of Meridian, died Monday, June 18, 2001, in his home. Mr. Gipson was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Vietnam Service Medal.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Gipson of Meridian; three step-children, Delilah Bond of Stuttgart Germany, Vicky Follett of Meridian and Dr. Roland Palmer of Norman, Okla.; five grandchildren, Karl, Caaman and Solomon Bond, Matthew Goodman and Elizabeth Faucette; an uncle, L.B. Pierce; cousins, Robert L. Pierce and Betty White of Meridian, Peggy Roberts of Southaven, Edward Darnell of Monroe, La., Mike Pierce and Cathy Apperson of Philadelphia, J.L. Pierce of Louisville, Johnnie Virginia Trout of Meridian, Janet Pierce, Janiel West of Petal and Alisha Wenslinger of Texas City, Texas.

Graveside services for Ollie Buffington will be held today at 11 a.m. at Lauderdale County Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Buffington, 84, of Meridian, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at Benchmark Health Care in Marion.
JIMMIE LEE JOHNSON

Services for Jimmie Lee Johnson will be held today at 1 p.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Cleveland Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson, 65, of Collinsville, died Friday, June 15, 2001, in Neshoba County.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Johnson of Collinsville; three daughters, Robin Johnson, Jennifer Wilson and her husband, Elder Tony, and Tydia Johnson, all of Atlanta; two sons, Jerome Johnson of Jackson and Cedric Barfield of Collinsville; his father, Jimmie T. Johnson of Collinsville; five sisters, Mary Windham of Collinsville, Virgie Hollis of Dallas, Lucille Gamble, Joann Green and Arceola Walker, all of Chicago; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services for Joel "Piggy" Pace Jr. will be held today at 3 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Overby officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pace, 34, of Meridian, died Friday, June 15, 2001, in Meridian.
Survivors include two sisters, Nita McCary and Michelle Miles, two brothers, Keith Pace and Gary Smith, all of Meridian; two nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Crowder and his father, Joel Pace.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Roy L. Dorman Sr. will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Dorman, 85, of Meridian, died Monday, June 18, 2001, in his home.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
