    Maternal grandparents are Howard and Carrie Lowery of Wake Forest, N.C.
    Mrs. Patterson is the former Tracy Lowery.
    April L. Holmes announces the birth of twin sons, Caleb Matthew and Jachob Colby, born May 22, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
    Stacye Schalski and Daniel Slayton Sr. of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Daniel Eric Slayton, Jr., born May 22, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Robert and Nicole Payne announce the birth of a son, Jordan Daniel, born May 22, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
    Mrs. Payne is the former Nicole Hill.
    A daughter, Macee Brooke, was born to Monica and Monte Knight of Quitman on May 22, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Marie McCarra of Quitman and Glenn Knight of Meridian.
    Maternal grandparents are Bill and Sue Wheatley of Union.
    Mrs. Knight is the former Monica Wheatley.
    Casey and Brenda Boyd of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Kaycee Breanna, born May 22, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Wiley and Ida Boyd.
    Maternal grandparents are Archie and Laura Matthews.
    Mrs. Boyd is the former Brenda Hopson.

    Maternal grandparents are Angieleen Goodman of Collinsville and the late Ben Goodman.
    Mrs. Johnson is the former Michelle Goodman.
    Tony and Tara Mitchell of Lauderdale announce the birth of a daughter, Shelby Elizabeth, born May 22, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are John Allen and Faye Mitchell.
    Maternal grandparents are Roy and Rebecca Adams.
    Mrs. Mitchell is the former Tara Noseo.
    Onesimus and Tanaha Bluford announce the birth of a son, Zion Emmanuel, born May 23, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
    Mrs. Bluford is the former Tanaha Jessica Smothers.
    Russel and Toni Cole announce the birth of a daughter, Ashley Rose, born May 23, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
    Mrs. Cole is the former Toni M. Workman.
    Shaterika Burrage and Jeffrey Gordon of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Kyran La'Shae Gordon, born May 23, 2001.
    Marcia Dionne Murry and William Walter Lynch of Noxapater announce the birth of a son, J'Marrion D'Angel Murry-Lynch, born on May 24, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Michael and Apryle Benlomanl announce the birth of a son, Maury DaShun, born May 24, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
    Mrs. Benlomanl is the former Apryle McDonald.
    Mr. and Mrs. Austin Ellis Cochran of Stonewall announce the birth of a son, Kellis Rhett, on May 24, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Dennis Cochran of Stonewall and Shirley Cochran of Enterprise.
    Maternal grandparents are Stanley and Sandra Herrington of Enterprise and the late Greg Lindsey.
    Mrs. Cochran is the former Rachel Lindsey.
