Mobile home sustains minor damage

A mobile home at 10770 McKeithen Lane sustained minor damage to one room Friday after a fire broke out in a bedroom.
Reports said volunteer firefighters from Martin, Collinsville and Long Creek were able to bring the 4 p.m. blaze under control quickly. Martin Fire Chief Al Minyard said he believes a curling iron was the cause of the fire. The home is occupied by Julia Holcomb.
