EMCC swept at home by Co-Lin

East Mississippi Community College dropped a pair of non-division junior college baseball games Saturday at home, falling 10-8 and 4-0 to the visiting Wolves of Copiah-Lincoln.
EMCC, now 2-12 on the year, returns to action Tuesday when the Lions host Itawamba in a North Division doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. East Mississippi is 0-2 in division play thus far.
Saturday, the Lions came up short with a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning, when East Mississippi got a two-run triple from former Louisville standout Derian Dotson. Josh Buckley also had an RBI single in the inning for the Lions, who trailed 6-5 before giving up four runs in the top of the seventh.
Steve Oglesby (0-4) was the losing pitcher.
Ashley Chisolm added an RBI single for EMCC's first run, while Jaron Andrews, Josh Perry and Josh Buckley all had RBI doubles. Dotson had two hits.
In the nightcap, EMCC's Bill Cotton (0-2) scattered 11 hits, but dropped a 4-0 decision when the Lions backed him with just a pair of hits. Andrews had a double, while Chris Ball singled for EMCC.
