Russellville BOE receives clean audit report

RUSSELLVILLE — The Russellville City Schools Board of Education received a clean financial audit for fiscal 2025 during its meeting on Tuesday.Buddy Johnsey of Watkins Johnsey Professional Group presented the report.

Johnsey said the audit found no issues with the system’s financial reporting that would require formal reporting under government auditing standards.

He said auditors also found no problems related to compliance with major federal programs.

He said auditors noted a few minor internal control matters and shared those with school officials for follow-up.
