Frog Pond cleans up 1,275 lbs of trash

Around 30 volunteers from the Frog Pond community and beyond met on Saturday to clean up rubbish along the road. Following the cleanup, they met at the Frog Pond Community Center for hot chocolate. Frog Pond resident Steve Trash said 51 bags of trash were collected in total, including 16 bags of aluminum cans. Additional trash collected included hubcaps, a walker, a ball, a sign, a large piece of metal and other items. In total, Trash said, 1,275 pounds of debris was collected.
