Red Bay Christmas parade postponed
TUSCUMBIA — The Shoals area Christmas parade season was scheduled to begin today, but Mother Nature had other plans.
The City of Red Bay’s parade has been moved to 7 p.m. Dec. 8 due to a high chance of rain this afternoon and extending into the night.
The first of the quad cities parades will be in Tuscumbia on Tuesday.
The parade will wind through the streets of downtown, including Main Street.
Immediately following the parade, the lighting of “Tinsel Trail” will take place in Pocket Park on Main Street between Fifth Street and Sixth Street.
