Vina routs Red Bay in decisive victory

The Vina Red Devils delivered a commanding performance against rival Red Bay, securing a 15-2 victory.

Vina’s offense was unstoppable, racking up 15 runs on 15 hits. Ali Raper and Allie Lann led the charge with three hits each, with Lann also driving in three runs.

Several other Red Devils contributed multihit games, including Kenzie Elrod, Braxton Quinn, Harleigh Ridge and Kari Harper, all with two hits. Quinn and Harper added doubles, while Ridge tripled. Lana Bell also contributed a double.

Aimee Shotts controlled the game from the circle, allowing only two runs on eight hits and striking out four, solidifying the Red Devils’ dominant performance.

Belgreen 17, Lexington 3 The Belgreen Bulldogs delivered a resounding 17-3 victory over the Lexington Golden Bears, showcasing their offensive prowess and capitalizing on Lexington’s errors. The Bulldogs’ bats were on fire, resulting in 17 runs on 11 hits, aided by five Lexington errors.

Caleigh Lawson led the charge with a powerful home run and five RBI, while Brooke Tompkins contributed a crucial double and also drove in five runs. Zoey Blaxton added a double. Bryn Scott had two hits and scored twice, while Jemma Moore, Dacota Green and Kendra Williams each scored three runs.

Blaxton also delivered a strong performance in the circle, allowing only two earned runs on six hits and striking out seven, securing a dominant win for the Bulldogs.
