Soaring to new heights: Eagle Scout recognition conferred
Ethan Patrick McCulloch, 15, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout for Troop #371 in Auburn, Ala., the highest honor of the Boy Scouts of America.
CONTRIBUTED – Ethan Patrick McCulloch earns the rank of Eagle Scout.
His parents are Patrick McCulloch and Brandy McCulloch, and his grandparents are Ron and Brenda McCulloch of Russellville and Don Bowling and Amanda Bowling of Muscle Shoals.
McCulloch began his journey as a cub scout while in the first grade.
After meeting specific Eagle Scout requirements, demonstrating leadership skills, completing a community service project and earning merit badges that covered skills and knowledge ranging from first aid to cooking, camping, personal fitness and environmental science, his rank was made official in September.
McCulloch’s Court of Honor ceremony took place Nov. 17 at University Station Clubhouse in Auburn, Ala.
