School Supply Drive

Through July 31

Alabama Central Credit Union is holding a school supply drive from now through July 31. On July 31, Alabama Central Credit Union in Russellville will have giveaways, a character meet and greet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Smashed Burgers will be on site from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., as well as from 4-7:30 p.m. All donations received in Russellville will remain in Franklin County. 

Terrace Manor Christmas Toy Drive

Through Aug. 1

Terrace Manor Nursing and Rehab residents are seeking toy donations for Christmas in July. Toys will be donated to The Place of Grace for children in need. A drop box will be available in the front lobby of Terrace Manor through Aug. 1.

Summer Revival

Through Aug. 2

Siloam Missionary Baptist Church, 1657 County Road 60 in Russellville, will have a summer revival July 29 through Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. each night. Evangelist is Dr. Josh Lancaster, executive pastor of the historic Abilene Baptist Church in Georgia. For more information visit lovedatsiloam.com or call 256-331-9502.

Golf Tournament

Aug. 2

Russellville Football will host a golf tournament at Twin Pines Country Club in Russellville Aug. 2. The tourney is $400 for a four-person team, lunch included, with an 8 a.m. start. Call Coach Goodwin or Jonathan Willis to sign up 256-668-9876.
