Adult softball league games continue in Russellville

The Russellville Parks and Recreation’s adult softball league continued its series of games July 16. The event marked the third for the group this month. Games are held at the John Blackwell Sports Complex, located by Sloss Lake. The league played five games in a mini tournament. Each game consisted of six innings, or 60 minutes drop dead time. Each batter started with a 2-2 count with one allowed foul ball.  

League plans included playing its last set of games for the month July 23. All players must be at least 16 years old with written permission of a parent if under 18.
