Tharptown 6, Danville 5

The Tharptown Wildcats jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings and held on to beat the Danville Hawks 6-5.

Dawson Higgins had a big game on the mound, pitching five innings, striking out 12 batters and giving up four hits and four runs. At the plate, Higgins got a hit and scored twice.

Joah Wilcoxson led at the plate with three hits and two runs. Jessie Mitchell had a hit and scored a run. Jackson Clement added two RBI.

Red Bay 4, Belmont 1

The Red Bay Tigers overcame an early 1-0 deficit to beat rival Belmont 4-1. The Tigers scored two runs in the third and two in the fifth to take the win.

Reed Hamilton led Red Bay at the plate with two hits and four RBI.

Eli Farris dominated on the mound, going four and two-thirds innings, giving up no earned runs and striking out five.

Farris, Jeramiah Robinson and Ty Reynolds all doubled. Reynolds, Jeramiah Thorne and Dallas Terrell all scored.

Belgreen 15, Shoals Christian 3

The Belgreen Bulldogs jumped out to a big 8-0 lead after two innings of play and went on to beat the Shoals Christian Flame 15-3. Belgreen outhit Shoals Christian 10-5.

Landon Cox led Belgreen at the plate with two hits, including a double, three RBI and four runs. Alex Guidry had two hits, three RBI and scored a run. Will King had a hit, RBI and scored three times. Rush Berryman had two hits and scored three times from the leadoff spot.

Berryman was the winning pitcher after two innings of work, allowing two runs, four hits and striking out three.

Colton Ashton and Hunter Woodruff also doubled.

King homered and doubled in a three-hit game against Colbert Heights. The Bulldogs lost the game 10-3.
