BOE approves personnel items

The Russellville City Schools Board of Education held a special called meeting Oct. 14. The board approved the following personnel actions:

Resignations

  • Alan Willingham, NFHS Network Broadcast, effective 2021-2022 school year
  • Chris Boatwright, maintenance foreman at the Parks and Recreation Department, effective Oct. 18
  • John Dugan, custodian at RHS, effective Oct. 1
  • Col. Norman Lier, JROTC instructor at RHS, effective Sept. 10

Temporary Employment

  • Melissa Greenhill, teacher for after-school tutoring and summer learning program
  • Tonya Alonzo, aide for after-school tutoring and summer learning program

Leave of Absence

  • Caitlin Witt, teacher at RES, Nov. 8 through Feb. 22, 2022

Voluntary Transfer

  • Angela Malone, from accounts payable clerk/bookkeeper to staff accountant at Central Office, effective Nov. 1
  • Melissa Hargett, from secretary/bookkeeper at RHS to accounts payable clerk/bookkeeper at Central Office, effective Nov. 1
  • Josh Kennedy, from custodian/groundskeeper at Russellville Parks and Recreation Department to custodian at RHS, effective Oct. 15

Employment

  • Jessie McClain, middle school softball coach
  • Marshall Bryant, custodian/groundskeeper at Russellville Parks and Recreation Department, effective Oct. 18
