CSB promotes new chief administrative officer

Community Spirit Bank has announced the promotion of Emily Mays to chief administrative officer.

Mays joins the bank’s executive management team bringing 15 years of financial industry experience to her role. Previously serving as vice president/senior marketing director, she is passionate about community banking and works enthusiastically to promote and support the communities we serve.

Mays earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama in 2003 and attended the Barret Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee – graduating in 2017.

Recently accepted into the Alabama Bankers Association’s Executive Leadership program, in December she will begin the 18-month advanced executive program.

She was named one of The Independent Community Bankers of America 40 Under 40 and one of Business Alabama’s “Franklin County Movers and Shapers.”

She is presently in her fifth year of serving on the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and serves as past-president.
