Homefolks U.S.A.

Hi folks,

To begin my story this week, let me say I hope everyone is well, enjoying life.

This year has certainly been different than any year I have ever seen. Everyone is so concerned about their health, and I hope we are all taking precautions in everything we do. I pray the terrible virus will soon disappear, and maybe things can get back to normal.

Maybe we have learned something during this lockdown that will cause us to all be more careful and concerned about our bodies.

Things will get better; we just need to be patient and let the good Lord do His work. I feel He has a plan for each one of us.

It’s always sad to see one of our good friends pass from this life, and this past week that happened to me. After a long sickness, my good friend Larry Landers passed away.

He will certainly be missed by everyone who knew him because he made a great imprint on so many lives. He always had a smile and kind words to say, and if he talked very long with you, he would always mention God and the great work He does in the lives of those who love Him.

His wife and children have always been some of my dearest friends. I can say the same about his twin brother Lowell and his family. The Landers family has done their part to spread God’s word, and I know their work will continue to live on.

When you are in Russellville, please pay a visit to Bolton’s. You don’t have to buy anything; it’s just always a pleasure to make and meet new friends and to visit with all my old friends I have known for many years.

I hope the social distancing and the masks will help the present health issues. My only problem with the masks: They hide your beautiful smile.

Till next time,

Your friend,

Bobby
