The sheriff office’s investigation reveals evidence to arrest Cindy Zamora for trafficking in methamphetamine.

Sheriff’s office arrests one for meth

July 21 investigators from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Russellville Police Department, assigned to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Region E Drug Task Force, developed information leading to the seizure of a large quantity of methamphetamine. The investigation also led to the arrest of a Russellville woman.

According to the report from the FCSO, in the afternoon of July 21, Task Force Agents from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the Franklin County district attorney’s office and FCSO deputies conducted a search warrant at 301 Aycock Loop near Russellville. 

Agents found and seized approximately 2.39 pounds of crystal methamphetamine. 

Taken into custody was Cindy Zamora of 301 Aycock Loop Russellville. Zamora was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine. 

As of Tuesday Zamora remained in the Franklin County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
