Phil Campbell, Belgreen anglers to compete in state tournament

The Belgreen and Phil Campbell fishing programs are experiencing an enormous amount of success on the lakes this year. Both teams have qualified for the state tournament being held this weekend at Lake Jordan on the Coosa River north of Montgomery. The ASABFA qualifies the top 40 teams in the state for the tournament

Belgreen is ranked 19th in the state, and this will mark the program’s first trip to the state tournament.

Phil Campbell is ranked 13th in the state. The Bobcats have been to the state tournament every year since 2014 and won the state title in 2017.

Belgreen’s anglers are Brodie Vandiver, Brady Hovater, Caige Smith, Will Donohoe, Landon Hill, Holden Sykes, Seth Sykes, Brent Sykes, David Plott and Trey Willingham.

Phil Campbell’s anglers are Easton Cummings, Seth Hall, Eli Jackson, Kendrick Baker, Dakota Mansell, Cade Baker, Trent Gonzalez, Eric Allen, Gauge Baker, Cade Ozborn, Bynum Franks and Eli Franks.
