Subregion pairings are set

Five county teams will continue playing basketball, at least for one more night. Subregion play begins this week.

Girls subregion games will be Monday night at 7 p.m, and boys subregion games will be Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

Lose the subregion game, and the season is over. Winners will advance to the regionals at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville. 1A regional games will be Friday, and 2A regional games will be Thursday.

Girls Subregion – Monday at 7 p.m.
Phil Campbell hosts Cleveland
Belgreen travels to Marion County (Guin)

Boys Subregion – Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Belgreen hosts Marion County
Red Bay travels to Altamont
Tharptown travels to Meek
