Homefolks U.S.A.

Hi folks,

As the year 2017 draws to a close, I hope that we all can look back and count our many blessings.

Many little babies were born this year, and I hope, trust and pray they all will grow up and be great citizens and will bring happiness to all of us.

In this year, we have said goodbye to many of our close friends and loved ones, but the good memories that we have of these people will continue to live on. I hope that we all have learned many valuable lessons that we can use in the New Year that is just around the corner.

The year 2017 has brought me many new friends that I can cherish in the time that lies ahead.

I know that every year has 12 months, the same amount of time, but I believe this year has passed so quickly. Maybe that’s good, maybe not. We all probably need to slow down and enjoy each and every day, maybe take inventory of our lives and strive to do better and be more productive in the coming year.

The readers of Homefolks U.S.A. bring so much encouragement and so much happiness in my life each and every week. I promise in the year ahead that our stories will be enlightening and will bring back great memories, and we will continue to offer encouragement to all our readers about the future.

Everyone needs to be part of a productive team. Everyone has ideas, and the way good ideas can become great is to share them with others. Please help me with your input on ways that we all can be part of a productive team.

Good plans and ideas are only good if we let them be known. Don’t let the bad news dominate your lives and the way you think.

I truly hope this story finds everyone in a happy, festive mood, and may that happy feeling continue in the coming year.

Again, thank you for the encouragement that you offer me each week. Let me assure you that your kind words were taken to heart. Each of you have made my life better.

Til next time,

Your friend,

Bobby

Thought for the Day

Life is like a camera: just focus on what’s important, capture the good times, develop from the negative, and if things don’t work out, just take another shot.
