Tyrus and Bobbette Taylor, of Decatur, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Victoria Maxine Taylor, of Newnan, Ga., and formerly of Russellville, to John Leon Nolan III of Newnan, Ga., son of Deborah Gibbs of Gay, Ga., and the late John Nolan Jr., of College Park, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dianne Clifton of Twain Harte, Calif., and the late Bobby Lawler of Russellville and Sparkie and Berline Taylor of Russellville. She is the great-granddaughter of J.D. Lott of Russellville.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in food and nutrition from the University of Alabama and is employed as a WIC traveling nutritionist/CLC with District 4 Public Health.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Sr.) and Marget Nolan of College Park, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Travis and Avis Haywood of Atlanta, Ga.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from the University of West Georgia and is employed with Tremron as a sales representative/hardscapes specialist.

The wedding ceremony is set for March 4, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Muscle Shoals.
