Margie Elsie Gober

Margie Elsie Gober, 85, passed away Dec. 14 at her residence. She was born in Itawamba County, Mississippi, and worked at the Zion Cookie Factory.

Services were Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. James Gray and Bro. Charlie Summerford officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are two sons, Jimmie Gober of Antigo, Wis., and Carl Gober of Zion, Ill.; one daughter, Patsy Gober of Red Bay; one granddaughter, Amanda Baumgartner and husband Ben; four great-granddaughters, Dakota, Emma, Heidi and Lily Baumgartner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Etheridge Gober; her parents, Noonan and Gertrude Collier Grissom; four brothers, O.D., Orvel Lee, Delbert and Robert Grissom; and three sisters, Ruby Foote, Rosa Nell Inman and Deloris Gober.

Visitation was Dec. 17 from 9-11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
