Roxie B. Mink

Roxie B. Mink, 89, passed away Aug. 27 at Courtyards Community Living Center, Fulton, Miss. She was born in the Ryans Well community to Lush and Leola Rogers Lindsey. She was a homemaker and attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Services will be Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Harold Ozbirn officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Springs Cemetery.

Survivors are her sister, Louise Harris of Fulton; her son, Ricky Mink of Golden; son-in-law, Neal Vinson of Golden; four grandchildren, Ronald Vinson, Donald Vinson, B.J. Mink (Shantell Nichols) and Kayla Robinson (Brent); seven great-grandchildren, Kascidy Vinson, Bentley Mink, Avery Robinson, Jaden Thomas, Gabe Pardue, Gabby Pardue and Jayelan Pardue; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arlis Junior Mink; her daughter, Brenda Vinson; three brothers, Cecil Lindsey, Resel Lindsey and Brice Lindsey; and two sisters, Lucille Wilson and Ruby Collier.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Mink, Brent Robinson, Terry Johnson, Mike Johnson, Billy Harris and Jerry Harris.

Visitation was Aug. 28, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
