EFJHS plans basketball camp

Summer is here, and with it a slate of summer camp options for young people. One of those options will be a girls basketball camp at East Franklin Junior High School.

The camp, set for June 20-23, will focus on basketball fundamentals and will be led by Red Bay Coach Donnie Roberts. Girls will be able to learn or hone skills like dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding and defense.

Cost is $50 per camper, which includes a T-shirt. Campers will be divided into rising third through sixth graders (8-11 a.m.) and rising seventh through ninth graders (noon to 3 p.m.)

To register, send $50 check along with the following information: Name, phone number, grade, date of birth, emergency contact and number and T-shirt size, to Dalana Baker, 3683 Highway 75, Phil Campbell, AL 35581. Registration should be postmarked by June 6 to receive a shirt.

For more information, call Roberts at 256-627-8570 or Baker at 256-324-0370.
