Edward Wayne Townsend

Edward Wayne Townsend, age 51, Phil Campbell, passed away May 28 at his residence.

Mr. Townsend worked in maintenance at Walmart for the last eight years. He was a devoted Auburn fan. His goodness and compassion will be greatly missed on this earth.

The visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 2 with the funeral following at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Speaking at the service will be James A. Williams, Pastor James E. Williams and Pastor Pearl Shelton. Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery in Phil Campbell.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Jack Baker, Brian Baker and Ronnie Townsend; brother-in-law, James A. Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him very much.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Townsend; mother, Elsie Townsend; and sisters, Debra Salters, Sandi Williams and Nell Saylor.
