Golden Tigers pull away late, 69-56

Russellville’s Tyler Willis led the attack from the outside while Adonis Bailey and Austin Stidham took care of the inside for the Golden Tigers in the area win over Fairview.

Willis had 19 points for Russellville.  Bailey and Stidham had 14 points each for head coach Michael Smith’s team.

Fairview led by 10 at the end of the first quarter but Russellville dominated the remainder of the game outscoring the Aggie, 62-39 in the final three quarters to get the 69-56 win.

The Golden Tigers took the momentum offF a strong second quarter into the locker room after Bailey beat the buzzer with a rim-rocking dunk.

Seven Golden Tigers scored in the victory.  Colby Tompkins had 9 points and was followed by Taylor Vincent (6), Joshua Seal (5) and Cedric Freeman (2).
