Police are looking for the person who fired three shots into an ATM machine at a local bank this past weekend.

Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said the incident occurred at the ATM machine at Community Spirit Bank in the Foodland shopping center on U.S. 43 in Russellville.

He said the crime happened about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Hargett said video surveillance captured a man wearing sunglasses and a towel around his face who came up to the ATM machine and began firing shots.

He said investigators at the scene found three holes in the machine and three shotgun shells on the ground.

Anyone who has any information about this incident is asked to call the Russellville Police Department at 256-332-2230.
