Vernell Wingo, age 82, passed away June 25, 2014 at Russellville Hospital.

The visitation was held Friday, June 27, 2014 at Akins Funeral Home. Burial was at Wingo Cemetary. There will be a private memorial service for the family at a future date.

She was preceded in death by parents, Ed and Margie Pratt Dykes; husband, Roy Wingo; brother, Jerry Dykes; and a sister, Tootsie Batchelor.

She is survived by her children, Denise Wingo and wife Carla, Denell Wingo Clark, Vickie McAllister and husband, Tony, Will Wingo and wife, Heather, and Robert Wingo. Siblings, Robert Dykes, Millerene Hargett, Babe Harris, Wanda Flanagan, Anne Hulsey and Keith Dykes and three great grandchildren, Dillan, Kyndal and Skylar Wingo.

A special thanks goes to Russellville Health Care Staff who cared for and loved our mother.
