Vernell Wingo , age 82, passed away, June 25, 2014, at the Russellville Hospital.
The Visitation will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at Akins funeral Home, from 4-8 p.m.. Burial will be in Wingo Cemetery. There will be a private memorial service for the family at a future date.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ed and Margie Pratt Dykes; husband, Roy Wingo; brother, Jerry Dykes; and a sister, Tootsie Batchelor.
She is survived by her children, Denise Wingo and wife Carla, Denell Wingo Clark, Vicki McAlister and husband Tony, Will Wingo and wife Heather and Robert Wingo. Siblings, Robert Dykes, Millerene Hargett, Babe Harris, Wanda Flanagan, Anne Hulsey and Keith Dykes; three great grandchildren, Dillan , Kyndal and Skylar Wingo.
