Lucille Hammock Beam, 88, died Friday, May 23, 2014, at NMMC.  She was born in Alabama to James Andrew and Bertha Jane Hammock.  She was employed by Golden Manufacturing, Lance Garment and several other factories in the area.  She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Services were Monday, May 26, at Antioch Baptist Church, Golden, Miss. with Bro. Jimmy Sartin and Bro. Eulon Prueitt officiating.  Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, James Vuin Beam of Golden, Miss.; two sons, Johnny Beam and wife, Brenda, of Golden, Miss., and Robert Beam and wife, Brenda, of Red Bay; two granddaughters, Amanda Lynch and husband, Anthony, and Tiffany Stone and husband, Billy; three great grandsons, Hunter and Kyler Lynch and Brayden Stone; one step great grandson, Steven Stone; one sister, Murlie Mayhall of Golden, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Archie “Red” Hammock and Joseph Orbin “Jim” Hammock; sisters, Jean Bohannon and Becky McFadden; half-sisters, Bert Griggs and Rosie Thompson and half-brothers, Walter Hammock and Herman Hammock.

Pallbearers were Bryan Sinningson, Connie McFadden, Oneal Hammock, Ricky Beam, Terry Beam and Gary Beam.

Visitation was Sunday, May 25, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
