Donnie Ray Glover, 59, died Friday, May 30, 2014 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham. He was born August 24, 1954 in Mississippi to William and Bertha Goodwin Glover. He was a member of Red Bay Free Will Baptist Church and a Mason. Mr. Glover was former owner and operator of Cardinal Drive-In in Red Bay, for 20 years. He formerly served in the National Guard.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at Red Bay Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Lindsay and Bro. David Corum officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife, Deniece Glover, Red Bay; one daughter, Robin Glover, Marietta, Miss.; two grandsons, Landon and Lawson Glover, both of Red Bay; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Glover, Red Bay; two brothers, Gerald Glover, Moulton, and Ricky Glover, Madison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Heath Glover, and two brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Steve Cox, Ricky Hopkins, Jeff Glover, Will Glover, Howard Morrow and Brad Bolton.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. -2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at Red Bay Free Will Baptist Church.
