Cletta “Pat” Miller

Cletta “Pat” Miller, 83, died Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born Nov. 10, 1930 in Franklin County, and had worked as a receptionist in the dental field.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Dr. Kristy Crandell officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, Miss. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are two daughters, Judy M. Smith and husband, Bill, Mobile, and Wanda G. Miller, Augusta, Ga.; four grandchildren, Pam Oetinger, Billy Smith, Teresa Abernathy and Bryan Smith; six great-grandchildren, Emily Oetinger, Tyler Oetinger, Nicholas Oetinger, Lily Smith, Marissa Smith and Grayson Miller Smith; two sisters, Shirley Cody and Rebecca Ray and one brother, Emmanuel Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, M.D. Miller and her parents, Edgar Jackson and Rethie Gentry Jackson.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews, Billy Smith, Bryan Smith, Stephen Ray, Cully Cody, Micah Jackson and Johnny Mason. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Smith and Jim Wilson.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, at Deaton Funeral Home.
