Lenice Etoil Mitchell, 90, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Mitchell was a native of Colbert County but had lived in Franklin County most of her life.  She was a homemaker and attended the Baptist church.

The funeral service was Friday, May 30, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery, Russellville.  Officiating was Dennis Steward and Jeff Fleming.  The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 29.

Survivors include children, Charles Mitchell and O.D. Mitchell, both of Russellville, Betty Harris and Carl Mitchell, both of Phil Campbell, and David Mitchell, Muscle Shoals; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, John and Anis Jackson; husband, William Lester Mitchell; son, Avery Mitchell; brothers, Alton, Curtis and Clarence Jackson; sisters, Zammer Bruce, Unise Seahorn and Carrie Isbell.

Pallbearers were Too Mitchell, Yogi Setliff, William Mitchell, Willard Mitchell, Davie Mitchell and Leslie Mitchell.

Honorary bearers were Larry Mitchell and Allen Mitchell.

The family extends a special thanks to Advantage Hospice and the staff at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
