Talmage Victor Rainey, 77, Leighton, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his residence.
Victor loved to be outside, fixing anything he could. He was a Nascar fan. He loved all his family and will be missed by all.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with burial following in Blackground Cemetery, Town Creek.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Dorothy Rainey; children, Susan Cook, Margaret Harvey, Teresa Richards, Judy Garrie; step-children, Gary Hughes, Randy Hughes, Tony Hughes, Tammy Harris, Phillip Hughes, Shanda Cryer; 8 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ivy Dale Campbell, Frankie Foster; and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmage & Mary Rainey; brothers, Vernon, Lawrence, and LeRoy Rainey; sister, Lucille Davidson; grandson, Maylon Harvey; and step-son, David Hughes.
The pallbearers will be Randy Hughes, Phillip Hughes, LeRoy Rainey, Preston Dothard, Bobby Cryer, and Cody Baty. Honorary pallbearers will be Victor Cruz, John Harris, Russell Cook, Wilford Cosby, Randy Foster, and Tony Hughes.
