Carl V. Morrow, 71 of Hernando, Fla. died on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.  He grew up in Russellville, and was the son of the late Claud and Pearl Morrow.  He was born on Sunday, April 18, 1943 in Sheffield.

Carl was a purchasing and contracts administrator with Burns and Roe, an engineering and power construction company, in Oradell, N.J. for over 20 years.  He began his career in the space industry with Boeing in Huntsville.  During his career he also, worked for Litton Industries in Pascagoula, Miss. and U.S. Lines in New York City.  Retiring in 2007, Carl and his wife moved to Hernando.  Carl enjoyed golfing, SEC football and was an avid Alabama football fan.

Carl was preceded in death by his nephew, Justin Morrow.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Burke Morrow of Hernando, Fla.; son, Joshua Morrow of Tampa, Fla.; daughter, Ashley Morrow of Kona, Hawaii; brother, John Morrow of Birmingham, and sister, Syble Coats and husband, Gordon, of Tuscaloosa. He was also, survived by numerous nieces and nephews: Sara Morrow, Jessica Morrow, Brittley and Kris Graviet, Rebecca Reynolds and husband, Stephen, Elizabeth Boyte and husband, Don, Gene Vinson and wife, Serena, Melanie Williams and husband, Kevin, and Patrick Burke.

Memorial Service of Remembrance took place on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Fero Funeral Home in Beverly Hills, Fla.
