Jimmie Lee Crumpton, 76, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at his residence. He was born Oct. 1, 1937 in Mississippi and was an employee of Mueller Brass, Fulton, Miss. for 34 years. He attended Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Services were Thursday, May 15, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Vina, with Bro. Ray Bennett and Bro. Matthew Haney officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay,was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his wife of 54 years – Erma Sue Crumpton; two sons, Joe Crumpton and Allen Crumpton and wife, Rebecca; five grandchildren, Brandy Caldwell and husband, Patrick, Brittany McCullough and husband, Lany, Joseph Crumpton, Jacob Crumpton and Logan Crumpton; six great-grandchildren, Abriana McMillen, Zeke McMillen, Skyleigh Crumpton, Luke McCullough, Conner McMillen and Gavin McCullough; one brother, Sam Crumpton and one sister, Lucille Brewer.

Pallbearers were Joe Crumpton, Allen Crumpton, Patrick Caldwell, Lany McCullough, Joseph Crumpton and Jacob Crumpton. Honorary pallbearers were Hollis Holland and Logan Crumpton.

Visitation was Wednesday, May 14, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
