Ricky “Uncle Rick” Watson, 55, died Friday, May 2, 2014 at his residence. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Services were Tuesday, May 6, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his daughter, Julia Watson of Germany; two sisters, Pat Raper and Judy Loften both of Vina; three brothers, David Watson, Jeff Watson and Gary Watson Sr. all of Vina; four nephews, Jody Raper, Chad Raper, Whitey Watson and Bubba Watson; four nieces, Christina Watson, Kim Perry, Missy Perry and Tara Christian; five great nephews, Buford, Axl, and Jesse Watson, Ethan and Tyler Hammock; several other great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Buford and Josephine Cox Watson; two nieces, Crystal Raper and Tabitha Watson.
Visitation was Monday, May 5, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
