Lady Tigers host area games

The Russellville Lady Tigers softball team hosted two area games last week.

On March 11, the Tigers fell to Lawrence County 9-3. Rachel Hunter pitched for seven innings. Kayla Cochran had a single. Lexi Lamon and Lily Holt each had three hits and a RBI. Brooke Borden also had a hit with a RBI. The Lady Tigers’ had a 6-11 record at the end of the game.

The Russellville Lady Tigers faced Muscle Shoals on Thursday. The Tigers’ lost to Muscle Shoals 11-1. Rachel Hunter had two hits and scored their lone run. Lexi Lamon, Kalli Beth Daniel, and Ally Willis all had singles with Willis driving in the only run. RHS stands 0-2 in Region, with a 6-12 record overall.

The Russellville Lady Tigers travel to Gulf Shores next week to compete in the Gulf Coast Classic.
