James Warren Whitlock, 86, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Helen Keller Hospital.

Mr. Whitlock was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of the Church of Christ. He was retired from Reynolds Metals Company and served in the U.S. Army and Navy.

The funeral service was Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating was Charlie Britnell and Andy Lane.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Seal Whitlock, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Gary Seal, Terry Pearson, Chris Seal, David Hovater, Anderson Richardson and Cagan Hovater.

He was preceded in death by parents, Roy James Whitlock and Susan Helen Hamilton Whitlock; and brother, Lowel Dale Whitlock

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
