Betty Ann Noble Bailey, 75, died February 1, 2014 at Hospice of Medina County, in Medina, Ohio.
She was born July 29, 1938, in Wayland, Ky. in a two-room log cabin. She graduated from Wayland High School, served in the Air Force and raised a family.
She was an executive secretary and the first female dispatcher at Sierra Pacific Power. She retired to State Line, Miss., and loved crocheting, gardening, reading and her animals.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Feb. 8, at Baggett Cemetery in Vina, with Bro. Steve Ledbetter officiating. Burial followed in Baggett Cemetery.
Survivors are three children, Cheri Summers and husband, Dave Nutter, and Mary Brown, and husband, Kurt Theis, all of Medina, Ohio, and David Summers, and wife, Donna, of Middleburg Heights, Ohio; three grandchildren, Amanda Dunlap and husband, Matt, David Nutter and wife, Olivia Meyers, and Joey Brown and wife, Samantha Willbee; five great-grandchildren, Cameron Nutter, Mackenzie Nutter, Emilea Dunlap, David Dunlap and Wynter Nutter; two brothers, Cephus Noble Jr., of Hooper’s Island, Md., and James Noble and wife, Betty, of Carson City, Nev.; one sister, Jacqueline Davidson and husband, Bud, of Vina; and two step-children, Lisa Bailey Quinnelly and David Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hughes Bailey; her parents, Cephus and Ida Noble; a brother, Joe Noble; and two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Noble and Mary Noble.
Visitation was Saturday, Feb. 8, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
