Clifford Leroy Howard, 67, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born Oct. 25, 1946, in Keokuk, Iowa, a police officer and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He attended New Union Missionary Baptist Church.
A memorial service was Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Greg Philamlee officiating.
Survivors are his wife of 15 years, Linda Rodgers Howard, Red Bay; mother, Peggy Howard, Marion, Iowa; five daughters, Heather Howard, Jumpertown, Miss., Brandy Almarri and husband, Saeed, Jacksonville, Ark., Pamela Holt Carter, Earle, Ark., Bridget Brown and husband, Alvin, Red Bay, and Leah Howard of Georgia; one son Zane Howard and wife, Crystal, Oakland, Tenn.; three sisters, Judy Messina of Arizona, Karla Gilbert, Marion, Iowa, Marlene Schultz of Nevada; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
