Sada Arne “Irene” Verdict Gill

Sada Arnene “Irene” Verdict Gill, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, Ga.  She was born in Arkansas to Frank and Manda Verdict.  She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Hodges, and was a member of the Eastern Star.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay.

Services will follow at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marty Guidry officiating. Burial will be in Hodges Cemetery.

Survivors include her sister, Fran Henry Woolridge of Cabot, Ark; three children, Joel Douglas Taylor and wife, Nancy of Topeka, Kan., Brenda Crawford and husband, David of Platte City, Mo. and Lester Taylor and wife, JoAnn of Martinez, Ga.; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank Verdict and Ewin Verdict; sister, Maxine Cantrell and a son-William Taylor.
