Glen Colburn, 50, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at his residence.

He was born November 2, 1963, in Fulton, Miss., and he was a factory worker for 15 years.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Red Bay with Pastor Johnny Smith and Bro. David Kelley officiating. Burial was in Burgess Cemetery in Golden, Miss.

Survivors are four children, Glenda Colburn and Nevaeh Colburn, both of Red Bay, Katrina Colburn of Russellville, and Reginald Colburn and wife, Darrette, of Florence; his mother, Mary Lee Lang, of Vernon; two brothers, George Lang and Nay Lang and wife, Mary, all of Vernon; three sisters, Janice Colburn, Laura Savage and Samantha Robertson and husband, Shawn, all of Vernon; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Maddox; two brothers, Danny Joe Lang and Brian Colburn; and a sister, Lorretta Colburn.

Pallbearers were Derrick Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Anthony Hackman, Billy Brooks, Shawn Robertson, Douglas Anderson and Nathan Martin.

Visitation was on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
