Lady Bobcats cruise past Lady Bulldogs

Taylor Pace propelled the Phil Campbell Bobcats to a 63-56 victory over the Belgreen Bulldogs Thursday night leading all scorers with 23 points on the night.

The game was nip and tuck throughout the evening. Phil Campbell led Belgreen 9-8 at the end of the first quarter. Both teams played even in the second quarter giving the Bobcats a 28-27 advantage at halftime.

The Lady Bobcats began to put some separation between their team and Belgreen in the third quarter and by the end of the quarter led the Bulldogs 43- 37.

The Bobcats would lead by as many as twelve points in the fourth quarter holding on to the lead and gaining the win.

Also in double-figures for Phil Campbell was Madison Hardy with 16 points on the night. Others scoring for Phil Campbell were Vickie McAlister (9), Tori Pace (8), and Elizabeth Benford (7).

Three players reached double-figures for Belgreen. Alyson Bragwell hauled in 18 points followed by Lexie Bragwell with 14 points and Jasming Martin with 13 points. Others scoring for the Bulldogs were Hanna Taylor (7), Breanna Wood (3), and Laken Bragwell (1).
