Alma Bowling, a birth mother to one but surrogate mother to all. She devoted her life to her family, job and caring for everyone or everything that came across her path.
She started her “legal” career in 1974 at the law firm that is now known as Bedford, Rogers & Bowling, P.C., with Roger Bedford, Sr. She watched Bob Rogers and Roger Bedford, Jr., begin their law practices. She also watched her son, Jeff, join the law firm in 1992. All of those who knew her well understood that she took pride in the fact that her “law school” was the University of Waco, not Alabama or Cumberland. She was known as Tim, the “Coke Man’s” wife. She had recently developed a love for creating her own form of artwork, which required an explanation at times.
Alma was loved by all who knew her, and will be missed by anyone who ever needed her. My mother and my friend, love always.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frist Baptist Church Russellville building fund or the Gideons International.
