Mary Elizabeth Lindley, 76, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Shoals Hospital.

Mrs. Lindley was a native of Russellville and a member of Mountain Home Baptist Church, Tuscumbia. She was retired as a seamstress with the Lee Manufacturing Company.

The graveside service was Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at Vandiver Hollow Cemetery, Tuscumbia, with Kenneth Bonds officiating.  Burial followed the service.

Survivors include children, David O. Scott, Russellville, and Donna S. Portier, Hammond, Louisiana; sisters, Wonel and Gene Howar Whitlock, and Barbara Taylor, and husband, Bobby, both of Littleville; grandchildren, Shiri Nicole Portier, Jeffrey K. Scott and wife, Brittany, Jesse D. Scott, Emily Scott, Anna Scott; great-grandchildren, Taylor Mobley, Savannah King, Luke and Landon Ellis, and Jayson Walker; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Lindley; and parents, George D. and Frona Hooper Fisher.
