Hobson H. Wilson, 93, Russellville, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Helen Keller Hospital.

He served his country in the U.S. Army and later became a machine operator at Reynolds Aluminum. He was a deacon and a teacher at the First Freewill Baptist Church of Russellville for over 45 years.

The visitation and service were on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Thomas Loyd officiating. Burial was at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Copeland, and husband, Bruce; grandchildren, Brian Copeland, and wife, Jennifer, Emily Copeland Andrews, Jonathan Copeland, and wife, Dana; great-grandchildren, Trey Copeland, Matthew Davidson, Ashlee Davidson, Joshua Andrews, Logan Andrews, Shawn Shackleford, and Ella Copeland; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Tommie Faye Wilson; parents, John and Maudie Wilson; brother, Milton; and sisters, Velma and Flora.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Keller Landing, Dr. Davis and staff; the 4th floor staff at Helen Keller; Vickie Seal, and Jennifer and Trey for all the extra love and care shown towards Mr. Wilson.

No one will miss him more than his family and especially, his great-grandson, Logan.
