Price Pearson, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at Clay County Medical Center in West Point, Miss.

He was born Dec. 15, 1929, in Mississippi. He was a retired carpenter and built houses all over the area.

Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, Miss., with Bro. Ray Burks and Bro. Jack Maroon officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Faye Pearson, Golden, Miss.; two sons, Randy Pearson, Saltillo, Miss., and Terrell Pearson and wife, Jeanece Golden, Miss.; and brothers and sisters, Cecil Pearson and Clydia Taylor, both of Fulton, Miss., Mavis Winchester, Red Bay, and Danny Pearson, Golden, Miss.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Amy Alisha Pearson, and a brother, Uvil Pearson.

Pallbearers were Truman Peden, Floyd Paden, James Arnold Marbutt, Paul Pearson, Ed Garcia and Paul Greene.
