Luchion Albert Baker, 78, Russellville, passed away at his residence Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013.

Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, with Bro. David Motes and Bro. John McCullar officiating. Interment was in East Franklin Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joey Quillen, Eric Harris, Jason Baker, Mike Baker, Shane Baker, Derek Baker, Bradley Baker; honorary pallbearers will be Chris Baker, Johnathon Baker, Jacob Baker, Brandon Baker, Brian Baker.

He was preceded in death by son, Alfred Baker; parents, William and Carrie Baker; siblings, Curtis Baker, Gene Baker, Helen Vandiver and Mildred Warhurst.

He is survived by his children, Ann Potter, Marlene Harris and husband, Rickie, Charles Baker and wife, Rhonda, Vernon Baker, Tim Baker and Shelia Cornelison, Karen Brannon and husband, Patrick, Jeff Baker, Scottie Baker and wife, Denita; siblings, Letha Evans and husband, Thurman, Dean Hatzis, Tinnie Baker; mother of his children, Ophelia Baker; 24 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to all the nurses at Southern Care Hospice and David and Mary Jo Motes.
